The meeting was called to order at 7:05

Father delivered the opening prayer.

Approval of minutes, motioned by Dick and Jay. Thanks to Mark for taking and typing minutes for me when I was out of town.

Treasurer’s Report

Bob reported 11 expenditure and 8 revenue items from the June and July, 2009 accounts.  Most of the expenditure and revenues came from the Annual Don Morris Golf Outing.  The beginning checking account balance was $23,207.38. 

Checking account balance is $16,155.52

Money Market balance is $28,129.28

Total Cash Balance is $44,284.80

Bob also presented the Booster Club’s Annual report for July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.

GIRLS TENNIS:  2^nd Western Big Six and 4^th Sectional

GIRLS BASKETBALL:  2^nd Western Big Six

SOFTBALL:   2^nd Western Big Six

BOYS TENNIS:   2^nd Western Big Six and 2^nd Sectional

Individual ALL-STATE honorees:   Peter Callas (Golf), Tim Hird (Cross Country), Topher Carton (Wrestling), Taelar Hillyer (Track), and Kathleen Hogan (Track)

• All Fall Sports officially start practice August 12
• Fall Pictures—August 15 or 22
• All Coaches Banquet—August 19. Tickets are $14.
• Meet the Pioneers—August 21 at 6:00PM
• Hall of Fame—September 11
• Homecoming—September 25^th  weekend

• IHSA Classification adjustments for 2009-2010
• New Coaches:   Doug Burke (Cross Country), James Johannes (Boys Soccer), and Girls Track search continues.
• Maps and directions to opponents’ schools are now listed on the website at the bottom of the Athletics tab

Old Business

• Don Morris Golf Outing went well.

New Business

• Taking into consideration the rising cost of food, prices for concessions might have to be increased.
• Alleman will host the Boys and Girls Conference Golf Meet on Monday, Sept. 28 at 10AM at Oakwood. We need volunteer/observers to go out in a cart with each squad. Call Steve Smithers if you can help. Steve also asked for money to buy food and other expenses for this event. Mike and Preston made a motion, and the Booster Club agreed.
• Steve also suggested that we give an award to coaches for 5 or more years of service.
• Bob needs someone to take over the Pancake Breakfast, October 25. What a great way to get service hours! He is willing to train/mentor someone through this process. Call Bob for more info.
