                           Alleman Booster Club Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:08PM

Father delivered the opening prayer. 

Dick motioned to accept the minutes from the November meeting, and Preston seconded the motion.

Treasurer’s Report

Bob reported 3 expenditure and 4 revenue items from the November 1- December 31 Financial Report.  The beginning checking account balance was $26,339.23.  Expenditures for the month were $1,647.54 vs. revenues of $170.82 for and ending balance of $24,862.51.

Money Market balance is $28,212.15

Total Cash Balance is $53,074.66

Athletic Director Report 

• 2009-10 WINTER SPORTS UPDATE

Girls Basketball: (14-7/5-1 WB6) Big wins within the conference—including 2 wins over Rock Island in 5 days—to keep pace with Moline. Most losses have been to state ranked teams. The Pioneers are currently ranked #4 in Class 2A.

Boys Basketball: (3-10/0-4 WB6) They have competed pretty well in most games. Wins have come against Wheaton St. Francis, Davenport North (IA-IL Shootout), and Dixon.

Wrestling: (4-7) The team is more competitive this year in dual situations. Several individuals performing well this year are Topher Carton and Anthony DeVriese who have been ranked #1 in Class 1A.

Boys Swimming: Alleman should have up to 5 boys competing in the RI Sectional.

Old Business 

·     We discussed the possibility of selling one of the concessions trailers to cut down on expenses. If you know of someone interested, let us know.

New Business

·         We welcomed 2 new parents who have freshmen. Please join us!

·         Basketball concessions for upcoming Boys home games: Jan. 22, 29, and Feb. 5

·         Fish Fry—March 12

·         Heritage Ball—March 27

·         Actively looking for new officer for the 2010-2011 school year. It’s easy: Mark has everything written down! I will continue as Secretary for one more year. I can show you what to do
