A strong honors sequence, concluding with the equivalent of a first-year course in calculus, heads the Mathematics program. A rigorous four-year college preparatory sequence offers many options, while the required sequence which offers three years of study through a second year of algebra, meets the needs of the college bound student having mathematical difficulties.

Students are strongly encouraged to take four years of mathematics, no matter the track or sequence of courses.  There is sufficient flexibility in the program to accommodate the needs of most students.
